    I went to lunch with my dad today and let me tell you, our server I believe her name was Felicia, was absolutely amazing. She was so busy but still did great to make sure we had everything we needed and our order was perfect (my dad can be a little specific with his orders sometimes lol). But she was so kind and man she was a hard worker. Everytime we saw her she was busting her butt doing whatever needed to be done. Excellent service and food was awesome.

    There are a few reasons I’m giving this place 2 stars. 1. Our server did not check on us once after dropping the food off at table. We were missing a side of toast and hot sauce, but she did not come around for us to make that known. 2. I was not offered a single top off or refill on my coffee. She never came around to check. It was Sunday morning, I needed more coffee. 3. After we finished eating, we stacked our empty plates at the edge of the table and waited for about 10 minutes before the server came to give us our check. That was the first time she came by our table since dropping our food off. I was ready to leave. 4. When I went to the front counter to pay, the employee was leaned over on the counter using her phone. Took her about 15 seconds to notice I was standing there. Get off your phone and do your job. 5. The food tasted good as always so they earned a 2nd star. Shoutout to the kitchen staff for holding it down. I won’t be returning, there are other breakfast spots in town.

    Food was delicious and Delectable. The polite manager Dan stopped by and checked on us. Good service and good eats.

    Everyone, from the host/ hostess, cooks, wait staff to Managers are so polite! They really work together as a team when it gets busy, but they never show stress or make you feel that you are just another customer. Really enjoy my "dinner dates" with my son here. It's comfortable, the food is always spot on, hot and cooked perfectly. The management here should be proud of what they have accomplished with training the right people. Especially nowadays, when you get terrible service and eye rolls from other establishments. Needless to say, we will be back and 100% promote the Howe Ave/ Main St location. Update: Can't get enough of Leighanna! What a sweet young lady. Thanks for another great night out with my son 😊

    From the beginning of my breakfast there. It was terrible. I walked in and the only thing that was a saving Grace was the hostess at that point. She kindly asked the waitresses where they would like me to be sat and they ignored her. Talking amongst themselves. When she asked them again they had a smart comment to her and were taking their time. So she just went ahead and sat me in a very comfortable area. After that everything went downhill. The waitress came over and was very short with no conversation whatsoever. She brought me out my coffee and my water to start. The coffee was weak. Watered down tasted absolutely terrible. The water glass had dirt spots inside of it. You'd think that an experienced waitress would check that. She took my order and I waited for my food. That was the biggest disaster. Out came a plate that was a portion size that I've never seen at a Bob Evans. I grew up in an area where we had three Bob Evans within 15 mi of each other. So within a 45 mile stretch you could go to three different Bob Evans. And it didn't matter which one you went to, they were all fantastic restaurants. Believe it or not, even as a kid in high school and even into college I used to go home or meet with my friends and eat at Bob Evans. At this point I would never walk into the Akron Bob Evans. Again. The food lacked any sort of flavor whatsoever. Portion sizes were so small and what I used to pay $13 for. I paid $20 for today. The waitress basically nords you and was busy having conversations with other waitresses. They said the district manager was there and that's why people were stressed. Well, that just tells you that even the district manager doesn't know what they're doing at this point if they're causing stress to their individual property employees. I used to work for Bob Evans years ago. I was unsuccessful personally at being a manager. In full disclosure, I resigned due to the fact that I broke a company rule. But with waitresses now wearing black t-shirts and jeans and not paying attention to customers and paying more attention to each other on their cell phones, hell anybody could be a manager for them now. I am so disappointed with this property. And I will never ever be there again. I did not accept any discounts when I complained about my service because that would be inappropriate for me to post in a review like this
